Site structure and modules of pages

For the logical organization of site pages we use treelike presentation of all its pages. Such presentation allows  to create the sections of site dynamically, appointing each page as a page «relative» (section of top level). A section called «Structure» answers for forming of tree of pages in the system. This section is a basic section of the system, it allows to convert the untied set of separate pages in the logically structured site.

Each page of the site is refered to the certain type which is determined by functionality. Now the system supports four types of pages: text, news, gallery and catalogue. In the corresponding sections of assistance we examine these types of pages in detail.

Each type of page is processed by its own module. The module is a programmatic part of the system which is responsible for the management of page (for example, the gallery module allows to add an image, and catalogue module  to add goods) maintenance and for the reflection of this content on the pages of site.

For editing of the site structure it is necessary to press on an icon «Structure» in the overhead horizontal menu of control system CiFrame. On the page of structure we see the list of existent pages of the site, button for management of these pages and large button Ð’«New page of structureÐ’» (it is in a left block in other sections of control system) which allows to add pages on the site.

Clicking this button we get into the section of addition of new page. It is necessary to fill the followings fields:

The name of page is the name which will be represented in the title of page, and also used for the authentication of the page in the site structure. It's not necessary for the names to be unique, but for the comfort of use, mainly to make them clear and the way which will represent the real content of the page or section.

The name (Latin) is a short unique identifier of the page or section. This name also can be of any kind, but for the reasons given above it is better to make it short and clear  for example, news, about, history etc.

The list «Top level of hierarchy» allows to set the page «relative» in the existent structure of the site. It helps logically to organize pages in the tree structure.

The list "binding to the type" allows to choose one of the modules (types of page), described above. If thefurther setting of page changes, you will be able to change this type.

The field «content reflection in hierarchy» in the inactive state allows to transit from the page which is being set to the first page of a lower level, that gives more advantages in structure management, if there is no necessity to fill with content some pages of the formed structure, and it is necessary to kick about a user to the first subsection of this page. The field is active by default.

Priority is a numerical value which determines position of the page in relation to other pages of that section. By default the value of priority is proposed so that a page was the last to be added to the structure.

The button «save» allows to save the inserted values and add a page in the structure of site.

On the page which represents the site structure, short information is represented for each page: its type(module), name, position, visibility, and also set of icons for the management of this page. On this page we can change the parameter of visibility (invisible pages can be used as rough copies or as pages for the internal use) - it is necessary to press on an icon with an eye. We can also change the position - after setting of required order of pages on the site it is necessary to press on the button «set», changes will be saved, and pages will be classified in accordance with new values.

Three icons are used for page management: content editing, parameters editing and delete. The first is used for fast access to the management of page content (depending on the module set for the page). The second allows to edit parameters, set at creation of page, and additional parameters, dependent upon module type.
